Fife's rich and varied countryside provides a wide range of things to do whether you are local or a visitor. In doing so we try to make sure that the long-term future of the countryside is looked after, so that it continues to make Fife an attractive place to live, work and visit.

Through a wide range of outdoor and environmental courses we promote awareness of Fife's heritage. We want to improve people's quality of life by helping them enjoy and appreciate their natural environment.

Working in partnership with communities, businesses and volunteers we aim to take positive steps towards Fife's plan to improve the health of its natural environment. We do this by looking after some important wildlife sites, protecting plants and animals and helping to make improvements to Fife's countryside by giving others advice and support.
